A Shared Birthday...

My eldest niece, Elena and I share a birthday and with busy schedules for my younger sisters & their families my Mom decided to celebrate our joint b-day & do pre-Labor Day BBQ last night.  It was a blast to hang out with my folks, my younger sisters & their familes.

 A cherry cake covered in Almond Chocolate Buttercream, and decorated with Pale Lilac Gum Paste Cherry Blossoms with Pink Pearls!

Everyone else got a cherry cupcake with Almond-Chocolate Buttercream, and a single Pale Lilac Gum Paste Cherry Blossom & Pink Pearl!

The cupcakes were a hit.  Only a few cupcakes were left and the Almond-Chocolate Buttercream & Gum Paste Cherry Blossoms had been carefully removed by little fingers!!
