XBOX Cake

When I was asked to do a cake for a birthday boy who loves gaming, the first thing that popped into my head was the original XBOX.  I know nothing about gaming but I love to learn new things & this was a fun lil' adventure.

Chocolate Cake with Mint Icing & Mint Fondant

I love the smell of mint, but when I toppled the small container of mint extract onto my counter the aroma nearly burnt my eyes.  I had to stop decorating for several hours but my house had a festive smell of mint chocolate for the rest of the day!
